Lombard, IL AC Replacement

Professional Installation Makes the Difference

Proper installation determines whether your new AC system delivers its promised efficiency and longevity. Our team strictly adheres to installation guidelines, outlined in our standards document, which exemplify what customers would not only want, but should expect in their homes. These standards are your assurance of quality, safety and efficiency, which will not only make your home more comfortable for you and your family, but also give peace and comfort in knowing you made an informed decision, based on value.

Load calculations form the foundation of proper AC replacement. We perform detailed Manual J calculations considering your home’s square footage, insulation levels, window placement, and orientation to determine the exact cooling capacity needed. Oversized systems cycle frequently, failing to dehumidify properly and wearing components prematurely. Undersized systems run continuously, struggling to maintain comfort while consuming excessive energy. Our NATE-certified technicians ensure your new system matches your home’s specific requirements perfectly.

Key Considerations for Lombard Homeowners

Replacing your AC system presents opportunities to address comfort issues beyond simple cooling. Consider these enhancement options:

• Zoning systems – divide your home into independently controlled areas, eliminating hot spots and reducing energy waste in unused rooms
• Enhanced filtration – improve indoor air quality with HEPA or electronic air cleaners that remove allergens, dust, and pathogens
• Smart thermostats – optimize system operation through learning algorithms and remote control capabilities
• Humidity control – add whole-home dehumidification to combat Lombard’s summer humidity more effectively

At A Perfect Climate Inc., we’re in the business of selling comfort, not just heating or cooling. This philosophy drives our comprehensive approach to AC replacement, ensuring every aspect of your new system contributes to year-round comfort. Since owners Richard Vollman and Michael Sitarski began their HVAC careers in 1974 and 1979 respectively, we’ve maintained an unwavering commitment to quality installation and service. Both remain actively involved in operations, ensuring every installation meets our exacting standards.

The investment in AC replacement typically ranges from $3,500 to $7,500 for standard installations, with factors like system capacity, efficiency rating, and additional features affecting final costs. High-efficiency systems command premium prices but often pay for themselves through energy savings within five to seven years. Federal tax credits and utility rebates can offset initial costs significantly, with some homeowners qualifying for incentives totaling $2,000 or more. We help navigate available incentives, ensuring you maximize your return on investment while upgrading to reliable, efficient cooling for your Lombard home.
